Prof. Gil Atzmon
Professor of Human Biology at Haifa UniversityGil Atzmon is Professor of Human Biology at Haifa University, where he runs the Laboratory of Genetics and Epigenetics of Aging and Longevity, and at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
The foremost focus of Prof. Gil Atzmon’s entire research career has been the understanding of the association of the whole genome to disease, performance, health and longevity. Since 2001, he has focused on human genome and its impact on aging and longevity.

Since 2013 he chaired the Specialization School in Clinical Biochemistry and Molecular Clinical Biology at the University of Sassari.
His main research interests are in genetic and metabolic analysis of human longevity. In particular, he taken part at the steering committee of the international scientific group named AKEA that study “The Sardinia centenarians as a model of the healthy ageing”. His interest address also in the biomarkers discovery in age related diseases, in COPD and in renal diseases.
Prof. Ron Cialic
Attending Physician at Tel Aviv Medical CenterProf. Cialic is an expert in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics of the Tel Aviv Medical Center.
He is interested in the involvement of the innate immune system in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis and the ways we can modulate its functions. Another project he is involved in relates with identification of early stage biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease in the peripheral blood.
The third project subject is age related physiological changes in the central and peripheral innate immune system.

Her PhD course is focused on understanding the molecular processes that prevent senescence and prolong proliferative activity of stem cells (studies in planarian model system).
Postdoc activity focused on human aging research. Inflammaging and metabolic and aging-related diseases - Molecular mechanisms of sarcopenia – Intramuscular lipid metabolism – Cross talk between skeletal muscle and other organs.

Head of the Department of Gerontology at University of HaifaIsrael Doron was formerly an Israel Institute Grant Recipient. Doron is head of the Department of Gerontology at the University of Haifa with expertise in the interaction of law, aging, ethics, and social policy.
Doron earned a Ph.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Prof. Tzvi Dwolatzky
Associate Clinical Professor of Geriatrics at Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion – Israel Institute of TechnologyTzvi Dwolatzky is the Director of Geriatrics and the Center for Healthy Aging at the Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa, Israel, and is Vice Dean and Associate Clinical Professor of Geriatrics at the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
He has devoted his professional career to the field of Geriatrics and to the care of older people. He is the chairman of the Israel Geriatrics Society, is the Director of the Technion American Medical School, is a member of the steering committee of the Israel National Dementia Strategy, and is a member of the National Geriatric Council of Israel. He represents Israel on the Full Board of the European Geriatric Medical Society. His research and clinical interests focus predominantly on the use of technology for the diagnosis and treatment of age-associated cognitive impairment and dementia, healthy aging and centenarians, delirium and frailty, and medical education.
He is the Editor of the Geriatric Section of the Frontiers in Medicine Journal.

Professor and Director of the Center for Biophysics, Bioinformatics, Biocomplexity at University of BolognaClaudio Franceschi has been Professor emeritus at the University of Bologna in Italy since 2016.
